This Saturday marks the ten year anniversary of the release of Grand Theft Auto III. In October of 2001, this revolutionary open-world epic was released to the world – a game that set players loose as a small-time criminal at the bottom of the food chain in Liberty City, a sprawling metropolis where anything can happen – and probably will. We would like to extend our immense gratitude to all GTA fans worldwide for your amazing long-time support, from early on all the way to today. Thank you.

| Grand Theft Auto III ESRB Rating: MATURE with Blood, Violence, Strong Language |
By popular demand, you can now adorn your desktop with digital rendition wallpapers (as well as avatars and icons) commemorating the 10th Anniversary Edition of the game. Choose from either the original North American cover montage which introduced Grand Theft Auto's signature cover art aesthetic - or the European release action-packed montage version, each one redesigned in black and white with gold accents. As a bonus, we've also gone back through the archives and dug up all of the originally released character artwork from Grand Theft Auto III, to provide a new set of desktops optimized for today's high definition monitors and mobile devices.

For those who prefer to commemorate tangibly - you can shop for printed posters over at the new Rockstar Warehouse as part of the
10th Anniversary Collection, and pre-order the limited-edition action figure of lead character Claude. This fully articulated 1:6 scale action figure of Claude comes dressed in his original attire of cargo pants and a bomber jacket, but he can also sport his iconic Liberty City Prison-issued jumpsuit (supplied). The Claude figure comes equipped with an arsenal of classic weapons from Grand Theft Auto III including a bat, knife, grenades, pistol, sniper rifle, and assault rifle.
